Feature Requests

It would be very convenient to read your favorite books right in the app and add new words directly. Similar to the function with articles, but instead of copying the text, you can just upload the file. Also I think it would be reasonable to keep these uploads private (I know there is a similar request with pdf, but this is a more general request that includes both documents and books) Thank you for your work :)

Hello DuoCards Team, First, thank you for creating such a useful app for language learners. I have a suggestion that could make DuoCards even more powerful: adding an API (Application Programming Interface) feature. An API would allow users to connect DuoCards with other tools and automate adding words, for example: Syncing vocabulary directly from Google Sheets or Excel. Creating Zaps or integrations with Zapier/IFTTT to import words automatically. Allowing teachers or learners to upload word lists programmatically instead of manual entry. This feature would save users a lot of time, especially those who study with larger vocab lists, and it would also open DuoCards to integrations with many popular platforms. I believe an API would be a valuable addition and highly appreciated by users who want more flexibility and automation. Thank you for considering this idea! Best regards,

Hello, could you add an option to select a specific collection when listening to your cards? It would be very convenient. Currently, I have to listen to everything randomly. Thank you in advance! You have the best app.

add a mark for letters that are stressed in the word for example instead of помощь it would be по́мощь to aid in pronunciation of the words

Some of the pronunciation is incorrect, it would be great if we could add our own sound files, and record directly through a microphone.

It would be nice if the video continued from the point clicked in the transcript section

Can’t use sound option on the phone while l’m listening to the music, It set’s music on the pause. Not a big issue but definitely very irritating, wanna listen to some music and be able to hear the right pronunciation

I suggest this feature for Card learning mode, not for AI assistant mode. Currently, only one side of the flashcard is read aloud. After flipping the card, I always have to look at the screen to check whether I translated the word correctly. I’d like to suggest adding a feature that allows both sides of the card to be read aloud, so that I don’t need to look at the screen.

It would be great to be able to add a local news (or other) sites via RSS. Then the articles are automatically pulled in. This way the articles in DuoCards are recent and potentially more relevant. I can make a daily habit of reading the latest news.
