Learning in language

Dear Duocards Team,
I would love to see an option in the app to learn English directly in English, without relying on my native language. For example, showing word meanings through short English definitions or synonyms would be very helpful. This would support a more immersive learning experience.
Thank you for considering this suggestion.

Especially relevant for advanced (hard) learners, we already do not depend on translations.

This feature will enable us to learn the language on an advanced, fully immersed level. For example, when I learn Korean vocabulary words, I like to look up how the word is explained in Korean instead of constantly asking my brain to flip back and forth between Korean and English. This becomes a barrier in developing my fluency in the language.

I'm Persian and my native language is Persian and I want to learn English
But, the Persian translation on categories and other stuff is not satisfying
I prefer them to be English too.
That would be better and it also helps with learning English

For now we have only translation. I would like to use in some cases definition or short version but in the language I learn. It would help to dive into language and build genuine mind map in target language. (I can now use definition to tap in the book and manually copy and paste, so let’s make it easier natively supported). Or maybe as the highest level as we have now while your card blurry etc.

It would be nice
